Back to GASOIL access

Start Here

GASOIL is a persistent charting and alert workspace. Save a market once, define the conditions that matter, and GASOIL can keep monitoring them without leaving the chart open.

Add a market

Use + Add to find a crypto market and add it to Watchlist. Adding a market saves it to the workspace; it does not automatically occupy Chart Deck.

Open the chart

Select the market in Watchlist when it needs direct attention. Focus opens one chart, Rows and Grid show several open charts, and Stack shows one market across several timeframes.

Know where controls live

The workspace header shows account capacity and account controls. Each chart header contains Plan, Objects, Setups, alert controls, timeframe, scale, and indicators. The right side contains Watchlist and Alert Tape.

Draw the structure

Use Level, Range, Order Block, Trendline, or Fibonacci to mark the structure you care about. Level, Range, Order Block, and Trendline are armed automatically when saved if alert capacity is available. The drawing remains attached after the chart is closed.

Confirm the alert state

A newly drawn standard object immediately becomes a live target. Fibonacci is the exception: open its panel, select the exact ratio lines to arm, and Save. If the account is already at its limit, a new object is saved unarmed instead.

Close without stopping

Closing a Chart Deck tab only removes that chart from the screen. The market stays in Watchlist and its armed conditions continue to be monitored.

Review the result

New alerts appear in Alert Tape. Alert History provides the full record and opens a read-only chart replay inside the history panel. Open in deck is available when the market needs active work.

A useful first test is simple: add one market and draw one Level. It should arm automatically, increase Live alerts, and remain under Armed in Watchlist after its chart is closed.

Core Concepts

These terms describe different parts of the same workspace. Understanding the distinction between saved markets, visible charts, objects, and live targets makes the rest of GASOIL predictable.

Mapped market / Watchlist

Mapped means saved in Watchlist. A mapped market keeps its source, plan, drawings, alert state, history, and Setups whether its chart is open or closed.

Chart Deck

The charts currently open on screen. Opening and closing charts changes the working layout but does not add or remove markets from Watchlist.

Object

A saved chart structure such as a Level, Range, Order Block, Trendline, or Fibonacci. Pen drawings are annotations and do not define alerts.

Alert condition

The event associated with an object or indicator: Level Touch, Range Touch, OB RSI, TL Break, Fib Touch, or RSI 50. The object describes where; the condition describes what must happen.

Live target

One armed condition currently using alert capacity. Most armed objects count once, every armed Fib ratio counts separately, and RSI 50 counts once when armed.

Setup

A sequence made from selected existing conditions. Intermediate matches advance the sequence silently; GASOIL notifies only when user action is required or the complete sequence finishes.

Market route

The selected exchange source for a market. It determines the chart and live market data while the saved plan, objects, and alert settings remain attached to the market.

Proximity

The distance between live price and tracked structure. It organizes Watchlist attention but does not change or trigger the underlying alert rule.

Alert Tape and History

Alert Tape is the compact recent stream. Alert History is the searchable record with trigger context, delivery evidence, and chart replay.

GASOIL does not execute trades, hold funds, request spending approvals, or require exchange trading keys.

Chart View

Chart View is the set of charts currently visible for direct attention or adjustment. It is not a separate alert mode or market inventory.

Order and visibility

Drag markets in the Chart Deck to define their order. Focus shows the selected chart; Rows and Grid show every chart currently open. Stack shows the selected market in four timeframe panes.

Stack view

Stack opens the selected market at 5m, 1h, 4h, and 12h by default. Each pane can use any supported timeframe, and GASOIL saves that four-timeframe combination independently for each market. Changing markets restores that market's previous Stack configuration.

Open-chart strip

The compact strip shows only open charts. Select a tab to focus it, drag to reorder it, or close it to return screen space to the chart area.

Recent activity

The activity strip in the Workspace header groups recent additions, opens, closes, removals, and alert triggers by market. Selecting an open market focuses it; selecting a closed mapped market opens it.

Setup status

The Setups control in each chart header shows that market's Setup count and turns green while a Setup is active. Open it to inspect matched conditions, what remains, continue a required trendline step, or remove the Setup.

Synchronization

SYNC indicates whether workspace changes are saved or still pending. It describes workspace persistence, not the health of every market-data or delivery service.

Close versus remove

Close removes a chart from the screen and preserves everything. Remove Market deletes it from the mapped library and stops its monitoring.

Markets and Routes

+Add searches the supported crypto market universe and exposes the exact route available for each result. Equivalent provider contract aliases are consolidated under one market ticker while each native source route remains selectable. GASOIL supports crypto markets only.

BybitBloFinOKXBinance

Regular markets

Browse active crypto perpetual markets by liquidity, sustained trends, absolute movers, gainers, losers, or ticker. Typing switches the results to ticker relevance. Spot, dated futures, options, inverse contracts, and non-crypto instruments are excluded.

Trending

Trending favors markets showing sustained directional participation rather than a single short-lived move. A weakening trend may remain marked as Fading briefly so the change of state is visible before it leaves the view.

Source changes

For a market available from more than one source, select the source watermark in the chart's top-left corner and choose an available route. Ratio markets keep their automatic source routing.

Ratio charts

Enter two tickers separated by a slash, such as ETH/BTC or SOL/PUMP. Ratio routes are assembled automatically for clean, continuous history.

Market status

+ Add identifies markets already saved in Watchlist and whether their chart is currently open. Individual tickers used inside a ratio remain unmarked unless that complete ratio chart has also been saved.

Persistent market state

Plans and drawings belong to the market and remain attached when its source changes. The selected source controls the chart data and live alert stream; alert timeframe settings remain shared for that market.

Chart Operation

Each chart retains its own market route, timeframe, viewport, drawings, plan, alerts, RSI, and visible-range tools.

History

The standard view opens at 150 candles and fullscreen at 250. Panning or zooming left requests older history when more is available.

Older candles

Panning toward the beginning of available history loads older candles progressively. Historical depth varies by timeframe, market age, and selected source.

Source availability

A chart may contain less than the timeframe cap when the selected source or market has a shorter trading history.

Supported timeframes

Charts and timeframe-based alerts support 5m, 15m, 1h, 4h, 12h, and 1D where sufficient source history is available.

VRVP

The Indicators menu controls Visible Range Volume Profile independently. POC, VAH, and VAL recalculate from the candles currently in view.

EMA 200

EMA 200 follows the selected market source and chart timeframe and can be shown or hidden independently from other indicators.

Volume

Plain volume columns are rendered with transparency in the lower candle area from the same provider-native OHLCV history as price. Volume is visual context only and has no average, event classification, or alert.

Structure pivots

Confirmed HH, HL, LH, and LL pivot dots belong to the chart's current timeframe. Switching timeframe replaces them with that timeframe's confirmed pivots; unconfirmed pivots and pivots from other timeframes are not painted.

Independent views

Viewport, zoom, timeframe, and fullscreen state remain independent for each market. Adjusting one chart does not disturb the framing of another.

Desktop interaction

Wheel zoom, chart panning, y-axis scaling, crosshair inspection, double-click reset, and Shift-drag measurement operate across the candle and RSI panes.

Mobile interaction

Portrait uses Focus and Rows with touch panning, pinch zoom, axis scaling, offset magnetic anchors, and an expanded chart view. Landscape prioritizes the candle pane: the time axis remains visible while RSI opens and closes from its own drawer.

Structure and Objects

Objects preserve chart structure and can define live alert conditions. New Levels, Ranges, Order Blocks, and Trendlines arm automatically when capacity is available; Fibonacci ratios are selected and armed explicitly.

L / LVL

Level

Select Level or press L, then select a candle price. A horizontal ray begins at that candle and projects right. Its one alert condition triggers when price touches the level.

R / RNG

Range

Select Range or press R, then place two magnetic candle anchors. The object tracks a high and low boundary. Its alert triggers at either boundary, never at the midpoint, and proximity follows the nearer boundary.

O / OB RSI

Order Block

Select Order block or press O, then select its source candle. GASOIL derives the zone and midpoint from that candle. Its OB RSI condition combines price inside the zone with an RSI extreme on the selected OB RSI timeframe.

T / TL BREAK

Trendline

Select Trendline or press T, then place two magnetic candle anchors. The ray projects right. TL Break confirms a candle close across the projected line on the selected TL Break timeframe.

F / FIB

Fibonacci

Select Fibonacci or press F, then place the swing origin and destination. Draw bullish structure from low to high and bearish structure from high to low. One Fib can show retracement and continuation-extension levels on the same anchors without interval fills.

P

Pen

A visual annotation tool for the candle and RSI panes. Pen strokes are not alerts and do not produce condition proximity.

Place or cancel

The chart guide identifies the next required point. Level and order block use one selection; trendline, range, and Fibonacci use two. Right-click before completion cancels the active drawing instead of placing an object.

Automatic arming

Saving a new Level, Range, Order Block, or Trendline arms its condition immediately. If the account has no remaining live-alert capacity, GASOIL keeps the drawing but saves it unarmed and shows a limit notice. Fibonacci never arms every visible line automatically.

Move anchors

Hover a range, trendline, or Fibonacci anchor to reveal its handle, then drag the handle to another magnetic candle point. The object body keeps the normal chart cursor so navigating the chart is not interrupted. Range and trendline moves save on release; Fib moves remain a draft until Save.

Open object settings

Right-click an object on the chart. For a level, trendline, or Fib, right-click its line; for a range, use either boundary; for an order block, use a boundary or its filled zone. Selecting a Fib row in Objects also opens its panel beside the Fib rather than over the Objects drawer.

Panel controls

Arm or Mute controls the object's alert state, Delete removes it, and Close dismisses the panel. While a panel is open, Space toggles its armed state and Delete removes the object. Escape or a click outside closes a clean panel.

Trigger inspection

The lower panel reports the object's current trigger measurements and armed status. These values inspect the saved condition; they do not change its rule or create a second alert.

Setup-managed objects

Objects assigned to an active Setup are marked in Objects and Watchlist. Moving, editing, arming, muting, or deleting one opens a warning because continuing removes the complete Setup before changing the object.

Object labels

Chart Label replaces generated display names such as Level 1 or Fib 1 throughout the interface. Renaming changes only what the user sees; it does not reset or duplicate the existing alert. Labels follow the object geometry, including projected trendlines.

Object colors

Non-Fib panels provide preset swatches, a custom color picker, and Reset. Color changes affect appearance only and do not alter trigger logic, armed state, or object identity.

Fib presets

Fib supplies the standard retracement and green continuation-extension set; Doom supplies 0.8 and 0.9. Presets define visible ratios, scale, and appearance only. Choosing a preset does not arm alerts and clears the previous target selections.

Custom Fib presets

Add or remove ratios to create a Custom configuration. Enter a preset name and Save to retain that configuration for the account. Changing scale, reversing anchors, recoloring lines, or selecting targets does not by itself create a different ratio preset.

Linear, Log, and Reverse

Linear spaces levels by absolute price; Log spaces them by proportional price movement. Reverse swaps the 0 and 1 anchors without requiring a new drawing. These controls change the Fib draft and require Save.

Fib colors

Retracement and extension groups can be recolored independently, and every ratio also has its own color control. The chart updates continuously while the native color picker is open. New Fibs inherit the last-used Fib appearance but never inherit its selected alerts.

Fib alert targets

Click anywhere across a ratio row after its color swatch to arm or unarm that ratio. Each armed ratio is an independent single-shot alert target. After one fires, only that ratio becomes unarmed; the other armed ratios remain active. The panel and chart update to show the new per-ratio state.

Fib line states

Unarmed Fib ratios remain thin and dim. An armed ratio becomes a 3 px full-color line. When an alert fires, that line returns to the unarmed treatment while the remaining armed ratios stay emphasized.

Save Fib changes

Fib labels, anchors, scale, direction, presets, ratios, colors, and target selections remain a local preview until Save. The Save button turns green when the draft differs from the saved object. Saving commits the complete Fib once and closes the panel.

Unsaved Fib warning

Closing or clicking outside a changed Fib opens a warning. Save commits the draft, Discard restores the last saved Fib, and Keep editing returns to the panel. Escape from the warning also returns to editing.

Objects is the compact surface for arm, mute, delete, and bulk actions. Right-click settings provide appearance and exact object controls. Muted objects remain saved but cannot trigger. The Workspace header shows account-wide Markets, Open charts, Objects, and Live alerts as used capacity against the current Access limits.

Setups

Setups track a sequence across selected existing GASOIL conditions. They do not invent entries or draw the discretionary confirmation step for the user.

Choose the setup

Open Setups from the chart header and choose a built-in sequence. Its information control explains the trading idea; selecting the sequence opens the builder for the current market.

Select existing structure

Choose the exact Order Blocks, Ranges, or Fib ratios that can satisfy the first condition. Those objects must already exist on the chart. For each selected Order Block, choose the OB RSI timeframe inside the Setup builder. Choose the Setup's TL Break timeframe there as well. These timeframes belong to the Setup and do not overwrite the market's ordinary alert settings.

ANY OF

Selection logic

ANY OF means the first valid target in that group advances it. Fibonacci Continuation has two groups joined by AND: one selected Fib ratio and one selected Order Block must both be recorded, in either order. They are potential confluence; drawing the requested trendline is the user's confirmation.

Bullish Reversal

Selected OB RSI or Range Touch, then TL Break, then RSI 50. The Order Block requires oversold RSI; either selected Range boundary can satisfy Range Touch. Choose the TL Break and final RSI 50 timeframes in the builder. They apply only to this Setup.

Bearish Reversal

Selected OB RSI or Range Touch, then TL Break. The Order Block requires overbought RSI; either selected Range boundary can satisfy Range Touch. Choose the TL Break timeframe in the builder. The Setup completes when its prompted trendline breaks.

Fibonacci Continuation

Selected Fib Touch and selected OB RSI, then TL Break. The Fib and Order Block conditions can occur in either order. Choose the TL Break timeframe in the builder. After both are recorded, GASOIL requests the trendline; drawing it is the user's confirmation that the setup remains valid, and its break completes the Setup.

Draw the next step

After the first condition is complete, GASOIL marks the Setup as TL drawing required. Confirm or adjust the saved Setup TL Break timeframe, then select Draw TL. The chart switches to that timeframe for drawing, but ordinary TL Break alerts keep their own market setting.

Notifications

A Setup-owned condition does not also fire its ordinary standalone alert. Instead, GASOIL sends one Setup update showing the matched condition, what remains, and the next step. Only the discretionary trendline step is marked Action Required; the terminal event is sent as the named Setup completion.

Status and ownership

Each chart can have one active Setup. Its linked alerts belong exclusively to that Setup and no longer operate as standalone alerts. Selecting any ratio from a Fib assigns the entire Fib to the Setup and unarms its other ratios. The chart header shows the Setup state; Objects and Watchlist mark participating objects.

Automatic cancellation

The object-step completion price becomes the setup reference. GASOIL cancels the Setup only if price moves 20% against its expected direction. Otherwise the user decides when an idea is stale and removes it. Automatic cancellation leaves every linked alert unarmed and records the reason in the Setup panel.

Capacity and removal

A Setup is not a separate alert-capacity unit. Its linked conditions use the normal Live alerts allowance. Cancelling an active Setup warns that every linked alert will be unarmed; confirming leaves the drawings in place and the alerts off. Deleting completed or cancelled Setup history does not alter alert state. Changing a participating object first requires confirmation and removes the Setup.

Common Workflows

These examples show how the main GASOIL surfaces work together. They are operating examples, not trading recommendations or entry signals.

Monitor a level with the chart closed

Add the market, open its chart, and draw a Level. GASOIL arms Level Touch automatically when capacity is available. Close the Chart Deck tab when review is finished; the market remains under Armed in Watchlist and Level Touch can still trigger.

Arm selected Fib ratios

Draw a Fib, open its panel, and select only the ratios that should become alert targets. Save the Fib, then confirm that those lines use the armed treatment and that Live alerts increased by the number of selected ratios.

Build a Bullish Reversal

Draw the demand Order Block or Range first. Open Setups, choose Bullish Reversal, and select the exact first-step objects. After that condition matches, follow the action update to draw the trendline. TL Break advances the sequence and a later RSI 50 cross completes it.

Build a Fibonacci Continuation

Prepare the Fib ratios and Order Block that define the setup. Choose Fibonacci Continuation and select both groups. Either group can match first. After both are recorded, decide whether the setup is still valid and draw the requested trendline; its TL Break completes the Setup.

Keep the screen focused

Use Watchlist as the permanent market library and Chart Deck as temporary working space. Close charts that no longer need direct inspection without removing them or stopping their armed conditions.

Inspect a past alert

Open Alert History and select the event. GASOIL keeps the history panel open, previews the relevant timeframe, centers the trigger candle, and briefly highlights the matching object. If that object was deleted, the replay says so explicitly.

Alert Rules

Alert names describe distinct conditions. A timeframe selector appears only when the condition depends on a candle or RSI timeframe.

LVL TOUCH

Level Touch

Triggers when price touches the armed level. No candle close and no timeframe setting are required.

FIB TOUCH

Fib Touch

Triggers when price reaches a selected ratio after its Fib targets are armed and saved. Drawing a Fib, showing a ratio, or choosing a preset creates no alert by itself. Every armed target is an independent condition and consumes one alert slot; a fired ratio mutes only itself while the remaining targets stay armed.

RNG TOUCH

Range Touch

Triggers when price touches the armed range high or range low. It has no timeframe setting.

TL BREAK

Trendline break

Triggers when a candle closes across the armed trendline on the selected TL Break timeframe. TL Break has one condition and no directional subtype.

OB RSI

Order block plus RSI extreme

Triggers when live price is inside an armed order block and RSI(14) is at or below 30, or at or above 70, on the selected OB RSI timeframe. The forming candle is evaluated in real time; no candle close is required. If price recovers before that candle closes, the finalized chart may no longer show the RSI extreme even though the alert was valid. Alert details preserve the RSI value recorded at the trigger.

RSI 50

RSI 50

Triggers when RSI crosses above 50 on the selected timeframe. RSI 50 is controlled from the alert strip and is not a drawing object.

After a trigger. Outside a Setup, Level Touch, Range Touch, TL Break, and OB RSI mute their object after firing. Fib Touch mutes only its touched ratio. RSI 50 is disarmed after its confirmed trigger. Setup-managed targets instead follow their assigned stage rules.

Setup completion

A Setup routes its conditions into Setup progress updates instead of duplicate ordinary alerts. Drawing-required is delivered as an action update; the final TL Break or RSI 50 condition is delivered as the named Setup completion alert.

Renaming an object

Generated names and custom chart labels identify objects throughout the interface. Renaming an object changes its displayed name without recreating, duplicating, or disconnecting its existing alert condition.

Source continuity

Changing a market source moves live evaluation to the selected route without changing that market's alert timeframe settings or saved objects. An active Setup keeps its original source binding, so cancel it before changing source.

Plans and Notes

A chart holds one current plan. Drawings define the structure; the plan records the market thesis and the conditions that make it relevant.

Plan title

A concise title identifies the active idea and remains attached whether the chart is open or closed.

Working notes

Working notes hold context, invalidation, confirmation requirements, and details not represented by the chart objects themselves.

Market references

Related tickers entered in notes appear as structured references without placing additional text on the chart.

Mapped continuity

Plan, notes, source route, timeframe, drawings, objects, and live-alert settings remain attached whether the chart is open or closed.

Watchlist

Watchlist is the authoritative library for every saved market, including markets currently open in Chart Deck. It combines plans, conditions, proximity, live daily change, Setups, and alert activity.

Saved market lifecycle

Autocomplete adds a market directly to Watchlist without opening Chart Deck. Open it only when it needs screen space, then close it when direct review ends. Its selected source, analytical state, and alert behavior do not change.

Armed and Unarmed

The sidebar separates markets with live alert targets from markets with nothing armed. A market can remain in Watchlist with saved plans and objects while unarmed. Moving between groups does not open, close, or delete its chart.

Armed state

Armed state belongs to the chart. Opening or closing does not arm, mute, reset, delay, or replace any object. Muted objects remain saved but are excluded from alerts and proximity.

Closest structure

Each armed market surfaces the tracked target currently nearest to live price. Expand the row to inspect its other saved objects. Level and Trendline use their active price, Range uses the nearer boundary, and Order Block uses its nearest outer edge while price is outside the block.

Near

A tracked object becomes Near within 5%. If price moves away, the color clears on the next evaluation; if another object becomes closer, the row changes to that object.

Current state

Watching and Near describe the market's current live relationship to armed structure. For RSI 50, Watchlist shows the latest closed-candle RSI, its distance from 50, and whether it is approaching, fading, holding, or waiting for a fresh cross. These readings organize attention; they do not replace the alert rule.

Source and alerts

The selected market-data source remains attached to the chart. OB RSI, TL Break, RSI 50, Level Touch, Range Touch, armed Fib Touch targets, and active Setups continue whether the chart is visible or closed. While GASOIL is open, every Watchlist row receives live price and UTC daily-change updates even when its chart is not in Chart Deck.

All and Armed

The full Watchlist contains All and Armed views. All shows every saved market; Armed filters the same table to markets with active alert targets. The Recent filter and Recent 20 column refer to stored alert history, not current monitoring state.

Expanded market

Expand a market to open Conditions, History, and Details. Conditions separates armed and unarmed objects. An active Setup appears above them with its completed and current stages, and participating object pills carry its Setup icon. History shows recent market alerts; Details shows project context and object totals.

Header counts

The workspace header shows Markets, Open, Objects, and Live alerts as used capacity against account limits. The Watchlist header separately shows Markets, With objects, Armed markets, and Setups. These describe the current library and are not four additional limits. Every armed Fib ratio counts as one live alert target; a Setup itself does not add another target.

Position and distance

Distance uses a compact position marker: the line sits above the percentage when the object is above price, below it when the object is below price, and through it when price is at the object. A small at-object threshold prevents unstable direction flipping around zero. Unarmed-object distance is live visual context only and creates no monitoring.

Unread alerts

A Watchlist row remains highlighted when it has unseen recent alerts. The corresponding object pill identifies which object triggered. Selecting the row acknowledges alerts through the newest event; merely opening GASOIL does not clear the highlight.

Proximity history

GASOIL keeps periodic proximity observations so Watchlist can show whether saved structure is approaching, retreating, or holding distance, alongside return since the market was added. This history supports review and never changes alert behavior.

Market profile

Details can include a project description, website, and available official or community links. This information is background context only and is not used by chart calculations, alerts, ranking, or Setups.

Missing project details

Some newly listed, wrapped, synthetic, or ambiguous tickers may not have a complete profile. GASOIL leaves unavailable fields empty instead of presenting guessed project information.

Open a chart

Select a Watchlist market to open the unchanged chart. GASOIL uses Focus normally and preserves Grid when Grid is already active. The Chart Deck tab rail shows every open chart; Focus, Rows, Grid, and Stack only change their presentation. Closing removes only the screen instance. Source, objects, armed state, timeframes, Stack configuration, plan, and drawings remain intact.

Alert History

Alert Tape is the recent trigger record; the full history table provides searchable context and delivery evidence.

Alert Tape

The sidebar shows recent triggers. Open the full table to filter by alert type or search market and detail history.

Delivery evidence

The full history table shows timeframe, price, source, trigger time, and delivery state for app, Discord, and Telegram.

Trigger context

Each row uses the user-facing alert name and identifies the condition result, such as Level Touch, Fib Touch, Range Touch, TL Break, OB RSI, RSI 50, a Setup progress update, a Setup action request, or a named Setup completion.

Setup records

Setup-owned matches enter Alert History as contextual Setup updates rather than duplicate standalone alerts. A required trendline step appears as Setup Action Required, and the terminal event appears under the completed Setup name. Selecting a record previews its market context without leaving Alert History.

Chart replay

Select an alert to preview its market, restore the event timeframe when applicable, center the trigger candle, and wash the matching saved object before fading it back to normal over about ten seconds. Use Open in deck only when you need to work on that chart.

Deleted objects

Alert history remains valid after an object is deleted. Replay still centers the trigger candle, but GASOIL displays a notice that the original alert object no longer exists instead of highlighting a different object.

Alert Delivery

Confirmed live alerts appear in GASOIL and can also use configured external or extension routes, regardless of whether their mapped chart is open or closed.

In-app delivery

New triggers enter Alert Tape while the workspace is open. Drawing-object alerts use the object cue, RSI 50 uses the condition cue, and Setups expose condition progress, action-required steps, and the final named completion without duplicating standalone alerts.

Discord and Telegram

Profile & User Settings controls each external route and the alert types delivered through it. Core routes include a branded chart snapshot of the trigger, its matching object, and saved alert state. Snapshot scaling follows nearby candles; distant Fibonacci ratios are clipped instead of flattening price. If snapshot rendering or upload is unavailable, the confirmed alert still arrives as text.

Extension notifications

A linked GASOIL Companion can show unseen counts and native notifications while Chrome remains running, including when the workspace itself is closed.

GASOIL Video

GASOIL Video places a captured browser tab inside the chart deck as a reference lane.

Install

Open a GASOIL Video lane from the header. If GASOIL Companion is not detected, download its package from the lane and unzip it.

Load in a Chromium browser

Open the browser's extensions page, enable Developer mode, select Load unpacked, and choose the unzipped GASOIL Companion folder. Chrome, Brave, and Edge use the same extension format.

Open a capture lane

Open a source website in another tab, click GASOIL Companion, and select Capture Current Tab. Each captured tab can be assigned to its own GASOIL Video lane. YouTube supports playback, seeking, volume, mute, previous, and next controls; compatible HTML5 video and audio sites support the controls exposed by their media element.

Multiple sources

Capture more than one browser tab and add a separate GASOIL Video lane for each feed. The preview strip at the bottom of a Video lane can rebind that lane to any available captured tab.

Workspace behavior

Video lanes follow Chart View order, support Focus, Rows, Grid, and fullscreen, and can be removed from their grid row.

Live chart overlay

Fullscreen Video lanes place live miniature charts over the video using each chart's current timeframe, viewport, and objects. Selecting a miniature opens that complete interactive chart over the video until it is closed.

Alert and Watchlist context

Fullscreen Video lanes expose current alerts and Watchlist markets approaching tracked structure. Selecting either opens the relevant chart.

Extension monitor

On Core Early Access, Companion checks account alerts, marks its icon with unseen notifications, and can issue native desktop notifications while the workspace is closed. Free Access keeps alerts inside GASOIL. Monitoring requires the browser to remain running and resumes when it starts again.

Product boundary

A capture lane is visual context only. It does not create GASOIL objects, alerts, plans, or saved Watchlist markets.

Profile & User Settings

The wallet identifies the account. The GASOIL password unlocks workspace data. Identity, security, and delivery routes are managed from Profile & User Settings.

Wallet session

The ownership signature is not a transaction, costs no gas, and grants no permission to spend funds. Disconnect wallet on the GASOIL access screen clears the connected wallet before another account is selected.

Workspace password

The GASOIL password is separate from the wallet password and seed phrase. Lock preserves the session behind the password prompt; Sign out closes it.

Profile

Username is permanent. Display name, avatar, bio, workspace password, and external delivery routes can be updated.

Avatar storage

Images are cropped before save. Replacing or removing an avatar updates the single profile image associated with that user.

Account deletion

Deletion is irreversible and removes the account and saved workspace data through the account cleanup flow.

Access During Controlled Release

GASOIL is currently in controlled release. Free Access is open to every wallet. Core Early Access is privately reviewed while real usage, operating requirements, and shared-service capacity are evaluated. GASOIL currently offers no subscriptions or paid Access.

Requesting Core Early Access

Free users can submit a wallet-bound request from the persistent Request Core access command in the workspace header or from Profile & User Settings. The authenticated username and wallet identify the request; no email or questionnaire is required. Access remains Free while the request is pending and approved access is applied on the next workspace unlock.

Why limits exist

Access limits keep the shared service reliable during controlled release. The live-alert allowance is shared across every saved market and includes armed objects, armed Fib ratios, and RSI 50. If the allowance is full, a newly drawn standard object is saved unarmed. Setups reuse existing targets and do not consume a separate Setup slot.

Future operating costs

GASOIL is currently available without payment. Charges may be introduced only if wider use materially increases the cost of keeping the tool reliable and available. Any paid access would be disclosed before taking effect; accounts are never charged automatically.

Alternative access grants

GASOIL may occasionally grant limited or temporary Access through a disclosed partnership or verified ownership of a specifically identified eligible token. Eligibility, duration, and capacity are defined for each grant, and token ownership does not guarantee permanent Access. GASOIL and PlanetWob currently have no official token. A third-party or unofficial token provides no affiliation, endorsement, ownership rights, or Access unless a specific grant is announced through official PlanetWob channels.
